I read about PSUs yet one small question remains.

I intend to make an investment in a very good PSU from Antec. I am doing it mainly cause my current PSU is far too noisy, but I know an investment is in the best interest of my system regarding PSUs. I can see that almost all PSUs include SATA connectors, but I have a IDE hdd. I am having difficulty finding out whether or not I need a connector on the PSU for a IDE hdd. Can I count on newer PSUs to be compatible with my IDE hdd? Thanks all.

All new power supplies will have ample connections for your existing ide devices and sata if you ever need it,you should have no problems.

Thank you very much Boxwrench. Members of Afterdawn haven't let me down yet, and I doubt they ever will. Have a good one.
