@troymaxx Not to be rude but if you want any help your going to have to use better grammar/punctuation. You just smashed like 3 sentences together making it very difficult to read/understand. So if you could please edit your post and clearly state your questions I would gladly help you out.
HI PeaInApod well thank you for your time to answer me and your observation i really appreciate that and I'm going to be more carefully well my problem its my PC dint let me play or burn any CD can you hepl me please
ok troy, no bad feelings but punctation means periods and commas. basically, what you have said is one run on sentence. maybe you should not rush quickly or you are from a foreign country where english is a second language. therefore, if that is the case, i will try to help you as best as i can. i think what you are trying to say is that the cd drive opens in the middle of the cd burning process and it becomes interupted. is that correct? i am confused too.
jajajajajjaja hi friends well yes my firs languaje its spanish and im doing my best well my problem basically, its cd drive opens and don't let me play or burn at all anything and sometime cd drive don't open but nothing hapen don't play or burn thank you for your time
Can you tell me if the "Device Manager" has any exclamation points? Have you installed a aspi layer? The cables for the drives properly hooked up?
If your drive is newly installed, a common problem that makes the drive disappear is the wrong jumper settings on the back of the drive. If your computer supports the cable select (CS) method of determining which drive is master and which is slave, the jumper on your drive should be on the CS pins. If it is not, the drive can disappear. If your computer needs to know which drive is the master and which is the slave, you need to set the pins accordingly. All drives have the jumper on the master setting as a default; but if the drive is connected to the IDE socket in the middle of the wide IDE cable as a "master" and the drive connected to the end of the IDE cable is also a "master," you may also have the same problems. In that case the middle connector should go to a drive with the jumpers on the SL "slave" pins. This is just a hunch, but it's happened to me dozens of times when I'm switching drives and not paying attention. "
