i saw last night a game on halo 2 being modded and i was like wow this is so cool so then i found this site and i was woundering from what ive read you can olny use soft modds on like mech2 but how where these people using it on halo? sorrry for the noobie Q

 

all softmods do is rewrite the xbox'x bios, change the default dashboard, and enable ftp

 

ok so like i wanna mod what do i get like a mod chip or will i get abnned for a modd chip

 

if ur mod chip is turnned off there is a slim chance of getting banned

 

ok so like if i turn it on will thney just be like bam hes done

 

if u go on live with your modchip on, u will be banned, maybee not that day maybee a week later, but you will be banned

Most modchips allow you to turn them off, so you can play online w/ a modchip w/out the worry of getting banned.

CA$H has a softmodding tutorial you could follow if you would like to go the software way.

After you get your Xbox successfully modded in some way, then we will all be glad to help you w/ modding some Halo maps.
