Ok I admit it I screwed up really bad, I can't boot up my games or anything. I think I might have screwed up the M$ Dashboard and now i need a lot of help. For starters, I keep getting Error 16 and I cant hotswap because i dont have a friend with an xbox(they all have PS3's and PS2's) and My computer will not support the HD that my Xbox has. If anyone has any suggestions or if someone can help me PLEASE!!!
Can you FTP, if so, you need to put a new M$ Dash under the C:/ drive If you cant, hotswap, you take your box open it, then turn it on and really quickly unplug your HDD IDE cable from your box and plug it into your computer, you fix it from there, you dont need a friends xbox.
to fix an error code 16 you have to hotswap an dsince you cant you will have to install a chip if you ever want to play on it again i have an error code 16 box i didnt fix it i jus got a new box and moded it its a lot less trouble then installing the chip in my view
Since you cant hotswap, you HAVE to chip, go get a cheap chip and it will flash the bios removing the error message
There are some bios'es around that allow the chip to boot past the clocksetting. (do a search!). So how do you get that bios on your chip because you cant boot to a flash program or something? Well you need to have an external flasher. It seems the m8 bios will take care for you of booting past the clocksetting. Or use the latest Xecutor bios
