Okay first I want to say I am new here, so if this question appears stupid or brainless I apologize. I recently took a trip up to Glacier National Park and came back with amazing footage. I recorded the data onto a Sony DCR-DVD92 Handycam with a 1.4 DVD-RW sony disc. I thought I would just be able to simply play it and watch the footage, but much to my chagrin it did nothing of the sort. I researched it a little and found that VR could not play on various and numerous DVD players. The closest viewing of footage I got was only 1:44 on my gateway laptop. It "played" on windows media player for that amount of time. The weird thing is though I could skip ahead to various parts and watch them until the 1:44 ran out. It actually runs about 30 minutes.

Question One: Is there any way I convert the disc or data from the VR Mode to the video setting of the DVD-RW to where I could watch it on DVD players?

Question Two: If I cannot do that, I have a Sony blue-ray disc player back home (still currently on vacation). Can the blue-ray player play the disc that is recorded in VR Mode in its entirety?

Sorry such a long post, but I wanted to be as detailed as possible when telling my problem.

    Thanks!
