i'll make this short and sweet guys, i have windows xp professional service pack 2 and windows vista both OS's are installed at once and i choose between when i load comp up! all i wanna do is delete one of the 2 OS's and keep the other one! simple ass....all help is appreciated! thanks owen
Do you have multiple drives? Did you install Vista on another partition? Need a little more info on where you installed it. But the basic is, edit you boot.ini to remove the vista entry, and manually remove the vista installation by deleting the approtiate folders. ~Rich
@Double... Unfortunately, Vista doesn't use the boot.ini as XP did. Removing the Vista entry in the boot.ini will need to be done after the MBR is fixed. Woops....thanks for the correction Morph. I just installed RC1 this past weekend and haven't had time to mess with it at all. Sorry for the bad advice. ~Rich
