Heres what i did. Like the curios guy i am i decided to go into the BIOS of my PC.... and decided to make a change. (i feel sooo stupid) I dont exactly remember what i changed but it had to do with my ram i believe. I went into chipset settings(or something like that) and changed a setting from Default or auto(cant remember which) and changed it to aggressive... I just wanted to see what it would do. And now the computer wont respond to anything i do, when i boot it the BIOS screen doesnt even show up! And by nothing responding i mean NOTHING, in order to turn it off i need to turn off the power supply. I need help guys, what did i do? How do i get back into the BIOS? its a Intel board. Please throw suggestions at me.
try resetting ur cmos, on the mobo should be a pin just reset it and it should be fine if u havent fried the memory lol
LOL,..... i relly hope your joking about the fried memory.(originally thats what i thought i did) Sigh,.... i feel so stupid :\ CMOS is the battery, correct? just take it out then put it back in? or is there a button?
there should be a jumper but that will do leave out for a couple of mins and put back in and should be fine... hopefully lol
Yep, it worked. I just took the battery out for about a minute. Reset everything correct? Anyway thank you so much. (i would have thrown it off my balcony befor i thought of that.) Thanks again.
