hey guys thanks for reading this, anyway for a while now my xbox would shut off all of a sudden while i was playing. this would happen sporadically, it would shut it self on as soon as i turned it on or it turn off after a few hours. i doubt its over heating specially since it sometimes shuts off as soon as i turn it on. when i play with the power cord a bit itll go on and stay on. so im pretty sure its the power supply unit. i took out the psu out since i searched on here before to see if it was desoldered but i didnt see anything wrong with it. but i have no clue as how to check it other than look for anything that dont look right. i remeber reading somewhere about buying psu i think it was llama but i checked out there site and i dont see any . any suggestions as if to im right or not to suspect the power unit. thanks in advance xbox is a 1.4 xenium chip evox as a dash 60 gig hd
Go to https://replacements.webprogram.com/en-AU/programoverview.asp and filling out the form to get a new power cord
thanks but i did do that and did get a replacement cord and still the same thing happens making me think its the powersupply unit but thanks anyway
