Hi, 2 things I noticed: You are a few versions behind on your firmware/ get it from the provided link below http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces Probably one of the worst blank media manufacturers try some verbatim or sony (sony should say made in Japan not Taiwan) Using too much memory try to turn off non-essential programs running in the background while burning a dvd. Let us know if my suggestions help you.

Hi, Glad you got it sorted. Same firmware different links. I still would suggest in the long run look at changing your brand of media (see the second link in my signature) for a thread that has alot of information regarding reputable blank media and poor media (i.e. cmc mag). Happy burning.
