Hello I have a Xbox v1.0 with Xecuter2.6 and Flash 3.0.3 and I tried to reflash with the new bios 5032 and now I get flashing red and green light. Can anyone lend me some assistance.
thats the same problem i am having, i mod chipped my v1.0 and flashed it with the x2 and that works great, so i modded my sons which is a v1.6 and when i flashed the bios and went to start it up my drive would start then stop then i would get flashing and green light, i don't know what to do ?
Since you're both on Modchips there maybe hope! Alas to the Guy with the v1.6a/b Ya should've known better!! If you know it was a v1.6a/b Why did you try to flash it with a Firmware that was ment for v1.0~v1.5. Recovery should hopefuly still be possible, although it could be harder with the Xecuter Chips. I don't care to brag. but, if having the choise to flash directly over a USB Connection or having a Chip with LCD Functions. I'll take the USB option as it's almost always a sinch to recover. It shoud come as no suprise to you that you should try to recover your previus Firmware Imag and reflash that back into the XBOX™. The only problem might be in how to do it. I'd try guess I'd try turning it on and try to see if I could get FTP access to it. As the Problem here is a Video Card ~cough Encoder Chip cough~ Driver conflict. So if you have to make a socalled BIOS CD. then that's what ya gaota do. If you have some kind of ChipOS or Failsafe ROM alla the X³, Xenium, SmartXX now might be a good time to access it!
so basicly the xbox is trash now? what has this bios written itself too? i can't believe that i just went and put that bios in, it was a stupid mistake, what bios should i have used? and i can't ftp it at the moment. i just don't know what to do!!!!
Have you tryed removing the Modchip?? Doing so should cause your XBOX™ to work like normal again. Alas I only have an X-b.i.t Chip. The only good thing about it is that you have to use an USB Cable to flash it. Alas I just don't know if Xecuter has such an option open for you. I would hope that there was a way for you to recover though. Does you XBOX™ make any noise? Flubber / M$Dash noise? or does it FRAG (Flash Red And Green),? If you can still hear the Fubber or the Ding noise as the 'X' comes up. I'd try burning a so called BIOS CD and try running that. That should as far as I know cause your Modchip to Flash whatever was on that CD. If this does not work. Then you'll have to try to flash this Chip from outside (i.e. by removeing it), your XBOX™...
