I live with my brother and between the two of us we have four computers. We both have Dell Dimension 5150s as desktops that we got about 4-5yrs ago and Macbook Pros that we got this spring for laptops. From henceforth, my desktop shall be refered to as Computer A, my laptop Computer B, my brother's desktop Computer C and my brother's laptop Compter D.

We have internet service through our local cable company, Insight, and the connection goes as follows. The modem is connected to the Linksys Wireless Access Point Router which is connected to Computer A. Computers B, C, and D are all connected to the router wirelessly. On computer A I have Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet security, Computer B simply has the Mac OS X firewall running, computer D is the same as B and computer C has Norton Anti-Virus and Windows Firewall.

The problem is with I-Tunes Music Sharing. My entire music libary is on computer A, my brother's is split between his two computers, C and D. Through I-Tunes, we can connect to the I-Tunes Libary on Computer C with Computers A, B and D. Also through I-Tunes, we can connect to the Libary on Computer D with Computers A, B and C.

None of our computers however can connect to the Library on Computer A. I went into the firewall settings of PC-cillin and told it to allow access to port 3689 TCP, as specified by Apple's website, to allow both incoming and outgoing traffic to the ip address range of our network.

However if I open I-Tunes on Computer A, then open I-Tunes on Computer B, in the task pane on the left of I-Tunes on Computer B it will give Computer A's library name. When I click on it, it tries to connect for a few moments then says "The shared library "*****'s I-Tunes" is not accessible for an unknown reason. (-3259) Check that any firewall software running on either the shared computer or this computer has been set to allow communication on port 3689."

As I stated before, I have already allowed communication on this port? What else do I need to do? I'm sure the problem has something to do with PC-cillin I'm just not sure what.

I searched "itunes error -3259" and from what I read, it's becasue of the wireless connection.
