I wanna ask whats best 64bit OS

    I wanna install 64bit OS...
    IS Vista Ultimate SP1 64bit better then xp pro SP2/SP3 64bit? or...

    64 studio .. a debian family OS .. works well though some of the apps are hard to find binaries for.

    oh... so win 7 is better then vista ultimate? win 7 64bit os also?

    I'd have to agree. Windows 7 64bit is definitely the best version of Windows when it comes to 64bit. I've setup 2 of my computers with it already, 1 Ultimate and 1 Pro, and they both work great. I'm going to convert 3 more computers this weekend. There are only a few features that Ultimate offers that aren't available in Pro, so you may want to review the differences to see if you really need ultimate. Here's a good overview of the different features available each version.

    Of course, if you're not a Microsoft partner, then you'll have to wait until October 22nd to get a copy.

    Yes you are true, but without Vista, Win7 wouldn't be as revered as it is. Vista had to be the whipping boy.

    Yeah, but without Windows 98 and ME, Windows 2000 would not have looked so good.
