    Hi guys,

I want to add a subtitle menu to a self made svcd (or vcd) compilation.
I made it from an avi file and i would like to create a menu to select what subtitle I want..
Like Dutch, English and French for example.

So I don't want to place a subtitle in the movie wioth for example VirtualDub.
I want to create an subtitle menu and from there I want to select the subtitle I want to use!

    is this possible??
How can I do that and what program should I use?

    TNX!

Well I believe that SVCD only supports One subtitle and only a few DVD players support SVCD With subtitles and there are very few programs that will allow you too add selectable subtitles and also support Chapters and menu"s but if you really want to try it here is a Guide(You would be better off spending the $75 and get a DVD Burner)

    http://www.how-to-convert.com/ask_us/a7042003.htm

This is the Only Guide I could find for Subtitles But I do not know what you are going to do about menu"s and Chapters, You could use a simple SVCD authoring program Like VCDEasy or Ulead DVD Movie factory but I do not know if they will accept the Mpeg2 file with Subtitles Muxed in it or if they do accept the file you might loose the Subtitles when the Chapters get muxed in....well good luck
