i want to build a media center pc but i am gettin super confused can any one help me?

hi there people i want to build a media center pc but im getting so confused over what you need to make it all work!

i have all ready -

amd 64 3000+

msi K8N platinum mainboard

1 gig of ram

nvidia 6600 256 graphics card

500 gig hard drive SATA

Lite On DVD burner

and i belive all i have to get now is a copy of media center 2005, MCE Remote and a tv tuner card.

i want my PC to be able to watch TV while recording TV

i have looked at buying a Hauppauge Win TV PVR-500MCE OEM Dual TV Tuner, but it doesnt look like this card supports DTV or DVB or Freeview (im from the UK. what would you guys sugest should be my next steps???

cand you give me some sort of idea as to how you would go about build it?

Do you want to know what else you would need or how to physically put it all together?

 

well just advice really

favorite video cards, stuff to stay away from, problems that could be encountered, that sort of thing.

the actual putting together part is easy (i say that now lol)

 

Dont know if you have it already, a surround sound capable sound card would be good too.

Get one that take digial optical input.
