hello i want to buy an xbox and i was wondering if you guys could give me tips about things i should notice like how to know if the xbox im buying has jasper in it and what is the biggest size HDD you can get with it (ive serached both walmart and amazon and didnt find 250GB , i heard they exist). any other advice or tip would be much appreciated
if you buy any store bought 360, they can all be flashed (assuming you are going to do this). the newer ones are more difficult however. they require some soldering and cutting of traces. definitely something a first timer should not attempt. as for the 250 gig HDs, they cannot be bought in stores. microsoft is not selling these at 'stand alone units.' however, you can make your own 250 gig HD. i put up a guide on here a while back on how to do it. so if you want to follow it just search for it. it should be within the first 5 pages or so though.
if you look at the barcode area on the 360 through the cutout in the box. look at the power details. a jasper will be 12.1A
