I have some avi's from a tv show and i want to put them onto a dvd-r so that i can choose from the list of the shows to watch which i want, i also want the background to have a mp3 looping, that is the theme song of the show. And i need to make a slide show kinda thing on the background where i put like 5-10 pics and they change every 5 seconds in the background.

    Don't want much do you!!!

I believe DVD Lab will do most (all?) of what you want for the menus. So all you have to do is convert the AVIs to MPEG2 or VOB files as I don't think it accepts AVIs as input.

So check the guides for "AVI to DVD" and download a 30day trial version of DVD Lab. http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/

There is a fairly detailed guide on DVD Lab here, http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/dvd-lab.htm

    HoHoHo.
