pros, lots of channels to watch for free cons, maybe a little learning to keep it up and running and flashed with the latest firmware there seens to be only a few choices for new fta boxes 1. eurovox pvr ex5000 ( or max v if you can still get 1 )the 500 can be bought with or without hard drive for recording 2. starview 3 or 4 the starview 4 usb can also be bought with or without external hard drive 3. arnet kryptview, reports say that this has the best picture quality, however it is a little more complicated to set up ( but not alot ) whatever box you go for it is always best to go for the latest model, support for earlier models is getting slow good luck
