i did, and so you all know, i do not have a standby button on my modem

if you have a direct link from your modem to your xbox you cant standby i tried that way b4 i ended up getting a router here is my setup for a router

Modem > router

then have a cord going from router to xbox now b4 each game you play hold the BACK button not the B button the BACK button located near your start button hold it and everyones names will be red X's except the host if your the host then play while having the router in your hands when u see a guy near you unplug the main cord in your router and hurry and kill one of yuor enemys but if u have ur cord out too long you will lag your self out if you give me a 2month i can have my friend bridge me host and i can do standby for you and get your 33 in slayer or 37 w.e you want so send me a email or AOL instant message or something

i do have a router, but its a wireless router..
could i just do this?
Modem -> Router -> Xbox
and it would still work?
