Feel free to shoot me! You may have guessed already that i'm a noob! I have a little knowledge, but not that much. Basically, i tried to make XBMC my default dash. Followed a tutorial up until the point i miss read it! instead of replacing the (default.xbe) that makes my evox dash launch, i replaced my (evoxdash.xbe). I replaced it with a shorcut to my XBMC folder. So when i boot up the Xbox, i get the standard Xbox dash, the one with the 4 options (Memory, Music, Xbox Live, Settings). I need to somehow get Evox to boot, so i can FTP and switch the evoxdash.xbc back into the right place. I tried making an Evox boot disc but kept getting dirty disc message. My Xbox is hard modded, Xecuter 2.6. Please help and also feel free to laugh and point, i deserve it! Cheers Dan
No need to laugh and point now, i managed to fix it! I gave the boot CD one last try and it worked. From then on it was simple, boot up into a very simple Evox Dash, Connect to Xbox via FTP from the laptop, and put right that once was wrong!!! (quantum leap! gotta love it!) Anyway, it would appear that my abilities are growing each day, although my reading ability remains, S*IT!
