I would like to know how to make a screenshoot

    I would like to know how to make a screenshoot. If windows will do it or i need a 3rd party app or what. Please let me know,thank you.

    All you have to do is Press the 'PRTSCN' button on the keyboard, and paste into a program, eg Paint or like, or even into Microsoft Word etc.
    Windows will do that fine.

    cozza1987 is right, for normal Windows programs the Print Scrn key copies the current screen to the clipboard. Another useful way to do it is to hold ALT while pressing the Print Scrn key. That will copy the active window only, not the entire desktop.
    If you need to copy a screenshot from a game, then you need a 3rd party app since DirectX bypasses the normal Windows graphical routines. Hypersnap DX or Snag It are ones that will do DirectX screen captures.

    FRAPS might be something to look into as well for DirectX capturing :)

    where does it save to

    If you are using Print Screen (PRTSCN) it saves it to the clipboard.

    What you will have to do is open a program eg MSPAINT or something similiar, you can even past into Microsoft Word etc... and Click edit, Paste, and it will paste the capture.
