hey yall!! I bought this ibm thinkpad from this guy , he said it wasn't working so i gave him a few bucks for it. got it home and turned it on. it says 1027 check time and date, then it takes me to a screen that is all black with a white lock symbol on it. then i guess you have to put in a password in, I have no idea what to do, any suggsetions will be greatly appreciated.

well that's the thing, that lock screen doesn't let me go into anything I can't go into cmos or the bios, as soon as i start the laptop it gives me the ibm logo, then from there it goes into the error 1027 check time and date then it goes to the screen with the little white lock symbol. I'm sorry for repeating my self but am i missing something or looking over anything , I'm just not quite sure on how to change the time and all that. If you have any other hints or tips I would sure appreciate the time you are taking to help me out. sorry for sounding like a dumbass here, but thanks for all the help so far : )
