just dug up an old IBM model M keyboard at work and love it. I had been looking for one of these for quite a while.
For those of you who aren't familiar, these are the big bulky old keyboards that make a ridiculous amount of noise when you type on them. I was wondering if anyone was selling one in dececnt shape, that i could use on my home computer. I know theres a company out there selling replicas, but they are expensive.
Anyone else like these as much as i do?

i love the sound too. i missed it when we switched over to the quieter ones at work. fortunatelt, i have nails so I can still make some noise, but those M's were the loudest. you could really tell who was working by the amount of typing they were doing. once, i caught an employee just tacking away at random keys pretending to work. everyone thought she was so productive beause she was constantly typing. little did they know it was all fake. she finally quit. if i dig any up in our storage, i will let you know, we must have a few laying around. we had hundreds, if not thousands of these just a few years ago.
