IBM Thinkpad T21 upgrades... Processor, Ram

    I have a IBM Thinkpad T21 and it has an

    Intel Pentium 3 800Mhz Processor
    128mb sdram
    20gb hdd
    S3 Graphics ProSavage 8mb Agp x2

    I was wanting to know if I could buy a 1Ghz processor or higher for it but I don't know how much my mobo supports.

    I think my ram is maxed out at 512mb, or thats what it said on the website. http://www.dealtime.com/xPF-IBM_ThinkPad_T21_2647_26474AU

    I'm going to buy an external USB 80gb hdd.

    I'm not sure what vid card to get, or what my mobo supports.


    Is there a program that can tell me the max specs on a computer and what I can do? I think I can get Belkin Advisor, but I'm not sure.

    Is there a program that can tell me the max specs for my laptop?
