I'm running Windows XP SP2. Now everytime that I go to change an icon, it shows up as an unknown file type of icon. This started happening when I recently had Icon Packager installed and when I uninstalled the program. Now all of my icons come up like unknown file types. I can change some of them and when I select the proper icon and click on apply/OK, it still shows up as an unknown file type. As you can see, this is annoying the heck out of me so if anyone knows of a program or a certain method to fix this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

have you tried a system restore just prior to putting on that icon package?
