Is it necessary to have these icons on the bottom right of my computer screen. someone told me that if i disable them that my computer will not start up again. I only think that it slows my computer up while starting up.
You mean the ones next to your clock? They are applications running.. For example your Antivirus, AntiSpyware and any other applications you have running... You could hover over them and see what program it is, if you need it leave it, if you dont you could goto your add/remove programes in control pannel and remove it.
