I'd like to know what user account suspended me for pointless pap

    Hi,

    I posted my thoughts on the irish government the other night,
    Basically i was anoyed about how the irish gov handly affairs
    Nothing too serious the usual that happens every day in ireland
    Especially in our northern counties.

    But some little man decided to suspend me, and added a comment
    Posting pointless pap,
    So basically that's what he thinks about the situations in northern ireland
    And decided that nobody else should have a say in that topic,

    So could you kindly tell me which user account suspended me?

    Just pointing out something to you... tis a shame you can read up on politics, but not forum rules.

    15. Political threads, as long as they don't relate to digital multimedia or legislation related to the IT world, are not allowed on this forum. The world is full of political forums where you can vent your opinions, we don't want them here. I rather prefer that this is a forum where a person from country X can ask a question and get an answer to it from a person from country Y, whether the country X and Y are in war or not.

    There was one error in the post.. if it had mentioned some media downloading or dvd copying restriction it would have probably just scraped by as the site theme is media and entertainment.. as it didn't, while it was an interesting political comment it wasn't really relevant to any of the subjects we discuss... XD

    Ah i don't mean to offend anybody sorry folks,
    I just get upset by different things happening around us
    Thought it would be good to clear the chest but i got suspended instead
    I can't understand why some things are allowed to happen.
    People in power don't do anything other than make things worse

    In their defense ddp, I don't think they were referring to anyone here this time, just the government.

    Well i was reffering to whoever suspended me but no biggie
    If we can't talk politics that's cool i'm no politician
    I used too much fruity language, but without that
    Would have been nice to see what people thought

    But he decided the topic was a load of "pap"

    as is obvious you have read the site rules, here is the 1 that you broke to get the suspension & that thread hidden.

    well.. my thread reporting.. with cnn links included.. how Obama is following the attitude of the previous junta with drm and fair use rights stripping from people was also removed.. He has been bought by the media mafia just the same as the last shower had been.. It clearly was within the site remit to discuss the issue...

    I care more about what's happening outside Ireland
    We're a small country with a lot of currupt politicians
    My fathers said tonight there's more peeps in the north that
    want to live under english rule that irish people up there
    If that's the case they should be sent to england not have the
    english take over what belongs to us allready.

    That's really all i'm saying.

    I respect you have the right to make up your own forum rules.
    But people should be able to discuss what they want if it's not illegal

    I feel if enough people take action then no amount of fource
    could stop them because the world would look on, maybe even help?

    Anyway lets forget it they don't care here this site is run by UK peeps

    I feel your anguish, but AD is not a place for politics.

    I am from the U.S., but I have followed not only the Irish resistance to British rule, but also the Holy Wars. I have very strong opinions, on both accounts, but this is not the place to post them.

    well im a canadian of scottish and welsh extraction.my favorite aunt by marriage was irish.she was so sad about what was going on there she would not even consider going back to visit.this we discussed in a family enviorenment.i am about as political as it comes but i realize these are not political forumns.so i will argue about just about anything but politics and religion here.as hard as it is to swallow this is a tech site first and foremost.peace out.Al
