    hi,

i had a couple questions about these new bans going out. i'm currently looking to buy a xbox 360 and flash or mod it but dont tend to play online. if i have a flashed xbox 360 and i download content for a backedup game is there a good chance i'd be banned from xbox live? also if i do play online with a purchased game but with flashed firmware im assuming that increases my risk for being banned as well? the thing im most curious about though is the downloadable content, updates and patches. also once you are banned that means your banned from all updates and downloadable content correct? if this is the case is there anyway to download the content on your pc and then transfer it to the xbox 360?

thanks for reading and any help would be appreciated.

Well my understanding is that when your get caught it it because the DVD drive is interacting with a backup disc, not the original. I would recommended waiting a bit until the new firmware called lite extreme comes out to plug your xbox in to XBL and play online. also read the thread about madden 10 rosters. Ot sounds like someone is starting to collaborate and make a website to stock pile game updates for users who cant update online with their consoles.
thanks for reading and any help would be appreciated.
