if getting no signal or jst saying updating try this

Hi my friend has a starview 3 the super and it was saying no signal and if done a refactory set it would jst say updating but would never move,i tried plenty of rescans and madw sure emu was on but never worked.so i decidecd to reflash it with lastest firmware which is the 1 at xmas time 8.04e.I then done a factory reset and rescand and put on to sky 2 till said no signal then went to menu 1570 and put emu on and put it on sky 2 and it started to update then went to bout 200 then came on.I will not bring the channels back that have moved over the few days but it gets the ones still avable back working.when i 1st pluged it in it wasnt even picking up the freeview like bbc when it normaly wud so that made me think by reflashing it mite wrk and it did.it was just a idear if people are having same problem.thanks torres9
