Hi everyone, I'm looking forward to getting a DS lite and was wondering (first off) if I should get the DSi or DS lite, and which of the two is/are moddable? Which can be done more easily, if both can be modded? Thanks for the feedback
If you buy a DS lite or a DSi right now you will get the exact same version that has been sold since each one was released. Both can be easily modded. DS lite modding guide: 1) Buy any DS flashcart (CycloDS, M3Real, exc) 2) Play games DSi modding guide: 1) Buy any DS flashcart with an 'i' in it's name (Acekard2i, M3i Zero, exc) 2) Play games Things to remember: Almost all flashcarts require a microSD card. Any microSD or microSDHC will do, though some games have issues with slower cards. For best compatibility go with one that is class 6 or higher speed. Avoid ANYTHING with the R4 name. The problem with the R4's is that there are literally 30 different R4 knockoffs of varying quality, many of which are cheap knock offs of other flashcarts. Some of them work fine, others have serious issues with quality and game compatibility.
