There is a number on the front S4000v I don't know what that really means anyway. I can't get it start any monitors I have around here, it comes on and the proccesor fan is on but it want prompt any of the monitors I have connected.

does it show anything on the monitor...like a cursor on black screen...?
could be RAM up and died, Could be the integrated graphics gone bad....
Unfortunately not booting could be a plethora of things...

First it doesn't do anything, so I can't see anything on the monitor. Two what is IRC chat, and Three if was the ram would the computer even boot, the power light and, the cpu fan is coming on. I have only a few days to get this right.

if have bad ram than might not boot or see anything on screen if using onboard video as it uses main ram. disconnect all cards & ram except for videocard & 1 stick of ram. reseat those. disconnect all cables to drives. check the can shaped objects on motherboard which are capacitors that they are flat topped not domed. try another psu. any beep error codes? moved.

It looks like that comp has got built in ram, which may have been disabled so clear the cmos to get back to origanal settings as that has a few options on the video card so if a video card was used then the onboard would have been disabled.
