Lads, just wondering when flashing a box, after the flash do you have to go and do a factory reset and rescan in all the stations and then put the channel dump back on ? That's what I've alway's been doing but I'm wondering if I flashed the box, then put the channel dump back on right away, then hooked the box back up to the cable/tv and turned the key emu on, should that be ok and the box update, or... after a flash is it advised to do a factory reset and do a full scan and then put the channel dump back on ?

    Thanks

You do not need to scan the channels if you put a channel dump on mate.

    Thanks for the info mate.

So instead of the long process I was doin. All I really have to do is upload the channel dump to the pc, flash the box, download the channel dump back to the box, go to user setup and press 1570 and turn key emu on and just exit out to sly 2 and that should be it ?

For the past while when I was flashing a few mates boxes I was flashing the box then rescanning all the channels back in and then hooking the box back up the pc and then putting the channel dump back on.
For some reason I was under the impression that all the channels had to be rescanned in lol I have no idea where I got that from.
