Gday to you all, I need a little help.

I wish to make a home movie ( our holiday and places we went to )and copy it to a dvd and send it over to our friends in USA, is there something I have to do to enable the copy to be played on their dvd player. I am not familiar at all with this dvd/copy/making etc. My concern is, what I hope to produce here in Australia, will it play/viewed in USA
    Many thanks in advance, ilikasip

I assume your normal standard in Australia is PAL ?

Most players in the USA, for some reason, are NTSC only.
If you want to make a compatible disk for your friends and family in the US, it's best to make an NTSC version to be on the safe side.
