if you cant change the vcore can you still overclocked

    i have a t2825 emachine with a 2800+ barton 333 ,6800 gt video agp ,1gb of kingston memory pc3200 ddr400,fic au31 motherboard.i already flashed the bios and tried to overclock wont stay stable.the barton has a locked mutiplier[which i read you can jump the 2 pins to unlock it]and you canot raise the vcore unless there is a upgrade i cant find.should i be able to overclock withouy raising the voltage or am i waisting my time please help,i am getting more and more confussed the more i read

    If your going to o.c your cpu then you need to increase the v.core for it to remain stable, you will have limited o.c potential if you cannot increase the v.core of your cpu via your bios, & the 2 pin mod dosen't work i've tried it ....
    edit: just read up on your mobo & it ain't suitable for overclocking since it has very limited bios fuctionality .... http://www.vr-zone.com/reviews/FIC/AU31/....if you want to o.c your 2800 barton then your gonna need a new mobo or get a newer AMD 64 cpu & mobo with a NF3 chipset that will allow you to use your 6800GT and other components of your existing p.c
