I had someone burn me a DVD (old 8mm movies). I decoded the DVD with DVD Decrypter. It decoded fine. Now I am able to watch it through the Video TS file (?). When I try to take the movie and edit it in Video Studio 8, 8 does not recognize the IFO File. After decoding the original DVD with DVD Decrypter do I now have to decode it again so I can edit the movie in Studio 8? Thanks
Normally when you have video editing programs like yours that can add extra titles and transitions, you can't just import an IFO file of a DVD; Normally you have to convert that dvd to an MPG file or some type of extension that is recognized by your video editor. When I was converting a movie a while ago, all I wanted out of it was the commercials, so I just used the "cut mode" in VOB Blanker. But, since I'm guessing that these movies are some old home videos of yours, I'm sure there's nothing you want to cut out of that, so you'll have to find some kind of program that can convert VOB files to MPG/AVI/Horseshit/Whatever files. Anyway, good luck to ya my man...
