You can turn DMA on for this drive. There's a guide here. http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=61905 Does it burn ok using the AOpen drive? Tried turning the burn speed down from 8x to 4x?

Okey-dokey, does that mean the Aopen is the Master and not the burner? I'm not sure if it makes much difference.
it is the master but only by choice..either can be it just makes it easier to complete disk and not having to put blank disk in after the movie reads.i use 1 to read and the other to burn..Again thanks
