I see the firmware needs updated. http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=2005 There is a link for newer firmware.
Same problem here. I can burn audio and data CD-R's just fine, and mp4's to CD-R, but I always get an "illegal disc" error when trying to burn a DVD. I've tried different brands, same prob. hey, ive been having a bit of trouble lately burning some dvds too. i havent had any trouble in the past but i recently got a pack of Verbatim (i guess theyre dvd-r it doesnt say on the dvd) and ive been getting this Illegal Disc error. ive got the log and it would be great if someone could give me a little help. thanks.
