Hi. I see you have discussed this many times, but I'm getting some trouble while trying to burn something with nero, or with some video-editing programs. The error that appears to me with nero says "Illegal disc" and the log file says the next: 1A23-4081-0035-8245-0976-4950 Windows XP 5.1 IA32 WinAspi: - ahead WinASPI: File 'C:\Archivos de programa\Ahead\Nero\Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=2.0.1.59, size=160016 bytes, created 17/06/2003 03:25:04 p.m. Nero version: 6.0.0.11 (Nero Express) Recorder: <LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1633S>Version: BS0K - HA 1 TA 1 - 6.0.0.11 Adapter driver: <atapi> HA 1 Drive buffer : 2048kB Bus Type : via Inquiry data (1) -> ATAPI, detected: ATAPI Connected to MMC as unknown drive with class-nr : 1 Drive is autodetected - recorder class: Std. Your burner's firmware is about 3 versions behind. Update from here to BSOY: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1934 That driver conflicts with Nero's drivers. Download and run Roxio Zap to remove it: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml You could also update Nero to the latest version 6. You don't have enough RAM memory, just enough for your OS to run okay.Should have at least 500MB for DVD burning.
@judithcc edit you post to remove your Nero Serial # lest someone steal and use it as theirs, and mess up your Nero connection. It starts 1A23..... at top of your log.
