First things first...remove your serial #, it is the very first line of your post. We wouldn't want anyone stealing it now would we. Firmware and Nero are both current You are attempting to burn too close to the edge of the disc, set target size to 4300 to avoid this. CMC Magnetics are some of the poorest manufactured discs on the planet and IMHO is probably the sole cause of your problems. Some quality blanks would include Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, and Sony, Fuji, Maxell (made in Japan). Yup, your burner doesn't like those discs. This is not terrible, but it is not recommended to burn at more than 4X, especially with those CMC discs you are using. The high compatability setting is used to booktype +R media to DVD-Rom, -R is not booktypable. I'm not sure if this could be creating a conflict, worth looking into though. Here are your blanks again. InCD is known to create conflicts with DVD burning and is not really needed. Uninstall Nero using the cleantool from their website, and then reinstall omitting the InCD packet.
serial number removed and thread teleported to relevant forum. wish i could remove the utter atrocious rubbish media so easily :O
i have done the nero uninstall and reinstall without incd but i do not know how to change it from burning to close to the edge of the disk..how do i do that???
If you use DVD Shrink, set target size to 4300MB in Shrink's preferences thus avoiding outer edge and not sacrificing much space
thank you...just one more question...where do i find the dvd high compatabilty setting at cuz i'm blond and can't seem to find it ..i know i seen it but just dont remember where...thanks again folks...
