Okay, a few quick things, This version is old, go ahead and update to the latest version, Nero 7.10.10 Your DMA is off, turn it on thru this, DMA Guide. You have Roxio present in your system, Nero and Roxio don't play well together, this is how to get rid of it. Roxio Zap Prodisk may not be the best of media, I've never used them but some members swear at them, others swear by them. Personally I use Verbatim or Sony or Taiyo Yuden DVDs. I'm sure that Binkie or Gwen will be by soon to look over your log, but this is a quick job, gotta run and help the kid finish her science project. Later. I'll check back later on and see how you are doing. Update: New info, your drive seems to be an older model, the last firmware update was in 2004, You do have the latest update available so you are good to go on that one, but may want to consider buying a newer model. www.newegg.com is a good place to start looking for one. Firmware page FYI After looking at this again, I think that your burner, the NEC is too old to handle the newer media, especially if it can only go to 2.4 speed.
Thanks for your help and advise. I am going to try what you have suggusted and go from there. I was sort of worried the devise might be a bit old. We'll see after the tweaks. Cheers
