I keep getting this error when using nero. I have used it for awhile now with no problems, now I keep getting this error. Any help would be appreciated. Update the firmware for the burner. ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/information_storage/software/JS04.exe You nero could stand updating as well.
in addition you are low on memory, try shutting down any progs that are not required and dont multitask while burning.
Thanks for posting. I installed new firmware and updated nero. Still got the same error. I close everything before I burn anything so that shouldnt be a problem. Can you please tell us the type of media you are using thanks. One thing I have learned from here is the NEW Nero update, last one I was aware of was 6.6.0.18
It may be a media problem but cannot say for sure. Try doing it again, this time using either a Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden and see how that goes. Some times there is a compatability problem with some burners and media.
I am with gwen on this one. I have not seen that one and was thinking firmware might make it see it right. Mind you I am not sure that is wrong but do think it may be. Like gwen said try with other media to see.
