I am hoping someone knows what I am doing wrong. I am new to this, and was following what I thought was the best way to copy DVDs to CDRs.

http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2vcd_with_smart_dvd2avi_tmpgenc.cfm I was following the instructions to a T. I save the project with DVD2AVI. Then when I open the TMPGE to and look for the .d2v file, I get the message illegal stream format. And I have installed the plug in and adjusted the priority to 0.

    Any help ?

I know I can do things the hard way, and some people may criticize me for being lazy, but I don't really care ;-)

be lazy like me, it helps to use software like DVD2SVCD to take care of everything for you..

I think you will find everything you need in this guide.. best of luck!
