    Yes you can

    The 05 is compliant and most likely will not record CP media;
    If its LP records or other non CP media it will copy to a DVD disk
    This disk can be played on most any player that recognizes a DVD disk
    Most CD and Auto players will not recognize a DVD and will only play a –CD disk
    If this is a goal, you will also need a recorder that can burn a -CD disk
    If your record player does not have a high level output, you will need a preamp if using a PC or standalone unit

    You will most likely be told to use a PC and they will do a very good job with the correct equipment.
    I would never go back to a PC for DVD or Music even with a difference of opinion over quality

    The edit could be a problem with the 05 but you can burn a continious program without Tracks.
