could be a number of things: you video card, your burner, the disk itself....... what media are you burning to?

the ilo i have is a dvd recorder , i use verbatim brand dvd+r . the ilo recordes just fine , is hooked up with our hitachi big screen t.v anttana comes in from satalight (dish)into ilo recorder and out from the ilo to the big screen t.v. the problem is their is a feed back humming noise for what ever reason . just wondered has anyone else had this problem and also when going through the ilo dvd recorder get a wavy lined picture . this is as i said a second one i have had this one is new . i don't beleive it is the disk i am burning it to as it does it all the time on regular t.v. that is going through the ilo dvd recorder. t.v. didn't do that until hooked up with this recorder . would the macrovision be causeing something like that even with just the regular t.v. on ?

all I can say is check your wiring..... sometimes if the wires are too close to another electical component you'll get feed back. It's got to be the wiring!

Sounds like macrovision to me - perhaps you need to try a converter.

well i checked the wiring again as , yes that made sense about the feed back and double checked the wire to make sure they were hooked up right (dor about the third time , and they are hooked up right , the funny thing is i can rehook up my cyberhome 1500 with the very same wires the very same way (made sure of that to) and the cyberhome does not have the wavy lines in the signal and dosen't have the hum in it like the ilo player . so i just don't know what is causing it unless its because its a cheap dvd recorder (the ilo) i just wonder if anyone else has had the same problem with theirs. i like everything else about the ilo ecept these problems are no good to have . i even reset some of the stereo etc. audio settings on the ilo , thought that might make a difference but no such luck. guess if i can't get the noise out of it it will go back to walmart .hope someone can help on this problem .
