The biggest piece of junk out their DONT BUY ONE!!!!! No matter what dvd brand I buy They wont prepair just says failed got one pack of the ILO disc to work from Walmart and one pack of disc to work name called Hyundia {gold ones} No I did the firm ware upgrade when I bought it. I try to do the latest but I put in in and even turn power off and then back on all it says is DATA disc. Had nothing but problems with this unit!!!!!! Any one else haveing the same problems? Time to by a liteon
Are you sure it's an ILO 04 model and not possibly an 05? That problem you mention is very common in the 05 model. I have an 04, I've had it about 2 months. It works flawlessly. I had bought an 05 model first, however and it did exacly what yours is doing, and I took it back within 3 days. How long have you had this unit? Can you take it back? I just bought a LiteOn 5005. It is basically the exact same thing as the ILO04. It looks exactly the same on screen and everything. Has all the same menus, same functions, etc.
Yes bought it about 6 months ago. I also tryed to clean the lazer eyes with a cd kit. Still no luck. I'm prob go buy another one at Walmat and put this one in the box and return it. As long as they want to sell this junk and offer no support then thats what you have to do. Then bring that one back unopen and trade up for the Liteon. Hope they go out of bussiness from selling junk to us
