I recorded a tv show on a formatted dvdr+w disc with no problems, but when I played it back it ran for about 5 minutes then froze and I could not get it to continue. I ran it at double speed from the beginning but it stopped at the same place. I have an MU1.
billroddy , The DVD-RW might be bad. D/L DVDinfoPro( Free- and you can d/l the advert version- You can Google for it) and do a CRC test on that disk to see if there are any read errors. If there are then re-format and try to copy something else to see if you can get past that section
I went back to the earlier ILO I bought with a ZU label and the same disc worked fine on that one with no problems.
billroddy, If the disk will play in another unit then the problem is probably w/ the unit itself. There have been other threads here and it looks like people have problems w/ those units
Thank you Car Mike, I am taking the defective unit back to Walmart. I may give up on ILO, if they are error prone.
