I've never had a dvd player, so am learning. The Ilo05 powers up, put disk in and it says "no disc", duh...... Also I just want to hook it up to my satellite connection, so I used the vcr diagram, could that be part of the problem? Any info and/or help will be appreciated (before I pull all my hair out).
I also have the same problem. Just purchased the dvdr 05 yesterday, and the no disc message appears after it is done loading. Also, if I try to record, it tells me to insert the recordable disc first. I tried to call the 800# on the box during the "normal business" hours, and got a message to leave a message! HOW FRUSTRATING! Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Check out this link http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers...Search&chipset=&country=&orderby=Name&hits=25 Seems that player doesn't like Imitation disks at all. Looks like Maxell disk would be the way to go with that DVD Recorder.. Sorry ;-(
Also one of the users that have that player say you can get a firmware update which could solve you media compatability issues Overall the reviews on that recorder aren't very good though. Most suggest to take it back to WalMart.. ;-(
I don“t have that problem, but the problem that I have is when I put a shcedule for recording, it starts but just record one second of the image on the channel and then change to a blue screen. Some know what can I do?
Yeah best thing to do is take it back for a new one because there is definately something wrong with it!
