ILO DVDRHDO4 DVD recorder/player

    Does anyone know if Maxell DVD+RW dvds are compatible with this ILO recorder/player? I have copied movies using 1clickdvdcopy software and can play them back on my PC with my LG dvd player, but the ILO connected to my TV just coughs and gags when I put them in (I was using MAXELL DVD+R DVDs and they would not work). I just went to Walmart and purchased some Maxell DVD+RW DVDs in hopes that this might cure my problem. I hate to rip open the plastic only to find they are useless for my application.

    Any help is appreciated!!

    i've had terrible luck with maxell disc's.. take them back or use them in your pc. try the memorex or imation brand. i've had good luck with both.

    Thanks for the reply. I tried the maxell DVD+RW and it worked on the ILO just fine. That's good, because they are so readily available. I'm glad I can finally use the ILO the way I want to.

    I have been using Office Depot discs and they have been working just great for me and I have 2 R04's piggyback..
