I was recording yesterday using a camera
The recording stopped after about 30 minutes
Is there some kind of timing mechanism that I have set.
I couldnt find anything in the book about a timer but there is instructions about scheduling.
You can actually see the countdown on the display so it must be some kind of timing mechanism that I have set incorrectly.
    Any help would be appreciated.

In the manual you should see a reference to OTR [On Time Recording]
It sounds like when using the record button you may be pressing it twice or holding it down to long and invoking OTR This, by defalt will record for 30 min, each additional press will increase the recording time by 30 min,

    Thank you very much
They dont refer to OTR in the manual but I found it under
    Specifying the recording time.

I have someone operating the ILO and they are obviously hitting the record button in a way to cause this.

    I really appreciate your help

    You are welcome

The 05 manuals are sometimes a pain and really don't cover the OTR use very well but I seem to have [On Time]imaged on my brain. It should be [One Touch Recording] as it is called in the o4 and others. You are right that the 05 manuals fail to cover it properly. I had forgotten
This feature is on most recorders. I'm glad you found it
