im from london and am lookin for my 1st ever cable box

had cable installed yesterday in what used to be a prev ntl area according to my neighbours, its now virgin of course as im in london.

so i want to get hold of a cable box, but i am worried as ive seen that these cable boxes u all have recently stopped working?
from what i see various makes of cable box were affected and i dont know if the boxes are working again.

so can somebody please suggest a good box, easy to use as its my first box

id also be grateful if you would let me know whether the problem with these cable boxes has been resolved yet?

i have a the box super aka starview 3 i have found it very easy to use and good quality and yes they have been fixed although stil some small hicups

 

I could sell u mine recently sold to me, cos the general problem i have not fixed it but i can fix it for you if you want.

 

how much are the boxes usually- do they come with the software?

 

hi mate i find the best box to be the kryptview arnet this was the first box with a fix as i believe it was the last time these boxes went down they are about £80 they should come with the null cable for you to update it should you need to
