i used nero burning rom to make a datadisc(dvd) of a bunch of old games and folders and programs of mine to free up space on the hard drive..
it took roughly 30 minutes to burn the disc. After i was done, windows would only read the disc as a cd and not a dvd.. and Nero dvd info says the disc is emtpy.. what gives.. Did it make a dvd image and save it somewhere.. and i have to burn it with that? I sat here and watched it for 30 minutes or so..while i watched tv.. so i know it did it..
Why after does windows insist its a cd..?

ok i tried it again today.. and it worked.. My pc is registering it as a dvd data disc now and will open it with all the files on it..

I clicked on verify data on disk after burn.. I also used nero express instead of nero burning rom this time.. I made multisession disk both tries so that or finalization wasnt the problem....

    Some other questions....

I used to burn mp3s with Record Now, and i used to record movies with Divx.. But now both wont register that i have a dvd in the burner.. it always says insert disk..
Once i used Nero did my dvd burner stop working for those other programs??? (I can still use Record now on cd's tho..)

Would deamon tools screw around with my dvdplayer/burner and make it so programs wont register dvds?
